The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 was a sporting tournament that captured the hearts of a nation and the passion of the world.
Partnering with our clients, CSM Live, we were engaged to deliver event branding for the event across both Australia and New Zealand including all cities and all venues across stadiums, training grounds, hotels, airports and bespoke venues.
The dimensions of our engagement grew from an original brief of event branding in two venues in NSW, to an expanded project that covered all Australian venues, and then again to include all the New Zealand venues.
In addition, sourcing local teams on the ground in New Zealand had proved an issue so by the time we were called in, timing was urgent. Not wasting a minute, we had a team booked and ready to fly within three hours of the first call. Despite encountering a raft of complications (“What do you mean the flight’s been cancelled?”), our team dug in and had the venues ready for kick off.
With over 200 workers and crew engaged for 10 weeks on an expanding project, working simultaneously in multiple countries and locations, this project tested even our limits.
With confidence, belief and nerve, plus industrial amounts of caffeine, we pulled off a winning result and delivered a world-class service on the global stage.
